Luka Doncic concludes China trip with Jordan Brand.
Doncic visited China with other Jordan Brand athletes as part of the brand’s China Family Tour
Luka Doncic wrapped up his tour of China over the weekend. The Dallas Mavericks star was there with Jordan Brand athletes Jayson Tatum, Zion Williamson, and Paolo Banchero as part of the brand’s China Family Tour.
The NBA stars started their trip in Shanghai. They visited the Nike Shanghai campus to meet and greet employees, took boat rides along The Bund — a waterfront area and a protected historical district in central Shanghai — and attended a basketball park and dance battle hosted by the brand featuring Les Twins.
On day two, the quartet arrived in Beijing and went to the Great Wall of China, about 77 kilometers north of the city center. While walking the wall, Banchero, Doncic, Tatum, and Williamson met fellow Jordan Brand athletes Guo Ailun and Yang Shuyu and gifted personalized fans as souvenirs.
Upon returning to Beijing, Doncic visited a local Jordan Brand store to meet with fans. One fan was overcome with emotions after shaking Doncic’s hand and saying, “All her dreams came true.”
The following morning, the athletes visited the Jordan World of Flight Beijing Sanlitun retail store on the final day of the China Family Tour. Outside the store, the brand constructed statue likenesses of each player. Inside, they met with fans and participated in a Q&A session.
Later that day, Doncic, Tatum, Williamson, and Banchero stopped by the finale of Next Stop Dongdan — the biggest streetball tournament in China. Each athlete participated in the games, threw down some dunks, made shots, and wowed those in the crowd.
