According to reports, Barbra Streisand’s stepson Jess Brolin is living in a small hotel room outside of Ojai, California, after turning down numerous offers of assistance from his well-known father James Brolin and superstar stepmother.
While Barbra, 82, and her husband James, 84, enjoy the pinnacle in luxury at their Malibu mansion, James’ youngest son Jess, 52, who lives in his broken-down van, was previously spotted scrounging among trash cans.
After being photographed rummaging through trash cans on the side of the road ten years ago, Jess has now been seen lounging outside the hotel that he is allegedly staying in.
The younger brother of Men In Black and Avengers star, Josh Brolin, 56, Jess is said to have struggled financially and in his personal life following the death of his mother Jane Agee, who tragically died in a car accident back in 1995. The stepson of Evergreen singer Barbra, Jess reportedly fell on hard times after trust fund ran out following his mother’s passing.
In pictures obtained by the publication, Jess was seen looking rather downcast while dressed in a black t-shirt with a Batman logo. He paired the casual t-shirt with a a pair of baggy denim shorts and wore a pair of torn up and battered brown trainers. On his left ankle, a large white bandage could be seen as the pictures showed him struggling to walk.
