Following the NBA Finals, a former Maverick provides an injury update.
The Celtics star hopes to be back sooner after his injury in the NBA Finals.
Kristaps Porzingis of the Boston Celtics is no stranger to serious injuries. Porzingis delayed having surgery until after the NBA Finals, even playing in the decisive Game 5 despite having sustained a torn retinaculum during the series against the Dallas Mavericks. During the media day for the Celtics, Porzingis provided an update on his ailment. “It is anticipated that [he will return] in December,” Porzingis said to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne. However, I’m in a great mood and am aiming to play sooner rather than later.
