Sad News: As Raiders RB miss game against the Chargers because of quadriceps injury

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Due to a quadriceps injury, Josh Jacobs, the running back for the Las Vegas Raiders, will not be playing against the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday night. He was considered questionable for the game following an injury sustained during Sunday’s 3-0 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. 90 minutes before the Chargers game began, Jacobs was added to the inactives list. He has caught 37 catches for 296 yards and 805 yards of rushes for six touchdowns. Last season, he had the most rushes in the NFL.

Wide receiver Davante Adams (illness) and defensive end Maxx Crosby (knee) were listed as questionable as well, but were not on the inactives list.

Other inactives for the Raiders are quarterback Brian Hoyer, defensive end Malik Reed, center Andre James, tackle Kolton Miller, and defensive tackles Byron Young and Nesta Jade Silvera.

For the Chargers: wide receiver Keenan Allen, safety JT Woods, defensive back Deane Leonard, linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga, tight end TE Donald Parham Jr. and defensive linemen Otito Ogbonnia and Nick Williams are all inactive.
