FARA WILLIAMS SIGNS CONTRACT EXTENSION WITH READING FC UNTIL 2021.
With great pleasure, New Era announces that client Fara Williams has extended her contract with Reading Women FC by one year, keeping her with the team until 2021.
One of the most celebrated female footballers of all time, Fara joined Reading in 2017 and has made 38 appearances, scoring 17 times for the Royals. She has captained Reading on several occasions this season.
Fara was the side’s top goalscorer for last season and is currently tied to retain this honour, sharing a tally of six goals for this campaign with Lisa-Marie Utland.
The most capped England player of all time, Fara has represented her country an unprecedented 172 times. Her career has seen her play for sides including Everton, Liverpool and Arsenal.
Fara is next set to face her former club, Arsenal Ladies, on Wednesday evening in the knockout stages of the Continental Cup.
