JUST NOW: Kansas City have just…

Travis Kelce reacts to Chiefs’ Super Bowl rings typo.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce doesn’t care that his team’s Super Bowl LVIII championship rings have a typo on them.

“Are they going to fix it?” the pass-catcher’s older brother, Jason Kelce, asked on their latest episode of the “New Heights” podcast that came out on Wednesday.

“I don’t give a s—,” Travis responded. “I like that we didn’t give a [expletive] about what seed Miami was. [Expletive] it. Who cares? They could’ve done no seeds on the side of them, and I would’ve been fine. I think it makes it more unique.”

It was reported last week that the rings, which cost approximately $40,000 each and are filled with diamonds and rubies, have a misprint.

The Chiefs began their playoff run to their second consecutive Super Bowl crown by defeating the sixth-seeded Miami Dolphins in the AFC wild-card round.

On the inside of the piece of jewelry, each Kansas City postseason opponent’s playoff seeding is listed next to their team’s name. The Dolphins are mistakenly listed as the No. 7 seed.

The Pittsburgh Steelers were the No. 7 seed in the playoffs and fell to the second-seeded Buffalo Bills in the wild-card round.

The Chiefs eliminated the Bills in the divisional round and the top-seeded Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game before beating the NFC’s No. 1 seed (the San Francisco 49ers) in Super Bowl LVIII in overtime.

The Chiefs and ring manufacturer Jostens have not commented on the situation and at this point, it’d be a surprise to see the mistake corrected.
