Vancouver Canucks General Manager Adam Foote announced today that the club has agreed to terms with right winger Brock Boeser on a five-year contract worth $8.65 million per season. The deal secures one of Vancouver’s core offensive players through the 2029-30 NHL season.
Boeser, 28, is coming off a career-best campaign where he tallied 42 goals and 34 assists, helping lead the Canucks to a strong playoff push. Known for his quick release and power-play presence, Boeser has become a key piece of the Canucks’ top-six forward group.
“We’re thrilled to keep Brock in Vancouver,” said Foote. “He’s a leader on and off the ice and a player we believe can help bring a championship to this city.”
The Minnesota native was originally drafted 23rd overall by the Canucks in 2015. In 502 career games, Boeser has totaled 198 goals and 217 assists. With this deal, Vancouver solidifies its commitment to a competitive core poised to contend for years to come.
