Steph Curry is on the injury report for Saturday’s game.
Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns will play the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center in San Francisco on Saturday night. Two-time MVP Steph Curry is labeled as questionable on the injury report, so the Warriors may be without their greatest player for the game. The San Francisco Chronicle’s Sam Gordon reports: “This morning, the Warriors worked out at Chase Center. According to head coach Steve Kerr, Stephen Curry (bilateral knee soreness) took part. Though “he’s doing better,” he will be doubtful for Saturday’s game against the Phoenix Suns.
In 14 games, Curry is shooting 47.5% from the field and 44.4% from three-point range, averaging 22.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. He was not there at the team’s final game.
The Warriors come into the night as the third seed in the Western Conference with a 12-6 record in 18 games.
They are in the middle of a three-game losing streak.
Most recently, the Warriors lost to the OKC Thunder by a score of 105-101.
At home, they have gone 5-3 in the eight games they have played at the Chase Center.
With a 10-8 record in 18 games, the Suns are the ninth seed in the Western Conference going into play. They most recently suffered a 127-117 loss to the Brooklyn Nets. The Suns’ record in their last ten games is merely 3-7. After Golden State, they will host Chris Paul and the San Antonio Spurs at home on Tuesday night for their next game.
