‘Light and Love’: Ravens Ex Running Back Alex Collins Dead at 28
Alex Collins, a former running back for the Baltimore Ravens, passed away at the age of 28.
“We mourn the passing of Alex Collins with heavy hearts,” the Ravens wrote on Twitter. “He was a really lovely person who always had a smile on his face and brought a unique excitement and passion with him wherever he went. I hope that Alex will always be remembered for the love and light he gave to so many people during his life.
Collins collided with a car on Sunday night while operating a motorbike in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, according to a news release from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office. On the spot, he was declared deceased.
In 2017 and 2018, Collins spent two seasons as a player with Baltimore. After five seasons, the pro rushed for 1,384 yards and 13 touchdowns. Collins also spent three seasons as a player (2020, 2021, 2016) with the Seattle Seahawks.

I will always remember that about him. In addition, he was a brilliant player who ran with unwavering determination. During his tenure in Baltimore, he made significant contributions to our success. We offer Alex’s family our sincere sympathies and support. May he now rest in the everlasting peace of God.”
