Ullmark has made five consecutive starts with a save percentage (SV%) of.912 or above. He has only let up one goal in each of his last three starts, which suggests that he is just growing better during his current hot streak. This includes stopping 31 of the 32 shots he faced on December 11 against the Anaheim Ducks.
In order to finally address their severe goalie issues over the past few years, the Senators acquired Ullmark. Despite having a rough start in Ottawa, Ullmark is beginning to prove to them why they were right to bring him here.
