Mary J. Blige is feeling generous right now. The singer revealed a new album, Gratitude, and an impending headline tour during her Monday visit on Sherri Shepherd’s daytime talk show, Sherri. The album, which was released on November 15, comes after her 2022 single, Good Morning Gorgeous. Blige gave a heartfelt reflection on her multi-decade career when questioned about the meaning behind the album’s title.
Look at my life now, I mean,” she remarked. “I’m constantly feeling thankful. I’m feeling fine. I have opportunities and employment. I’m in good health. My family is doing well. I’m surrounded by loving and caring individuals, and I have incredible admirers. I am incredibly appreciative of my fans’ love and support over the years. And the desire to give back follows that feeling of thankfulness. According to Blige, she will soon go on a journey that is fittingly named For My Fans. R&B crooner Mario and hitmaker Ne-Yo will be on the tour, which starts in January 2025. The precise dates will be revealed later.
Blige posted on Instagram, “When it’s all said and done, it’s never all said and done, I owe my fans a gratitude I can’t put into words, so I put it into a show.” “I hope to see you at the For My Fans Tour soon.” favored by Rolling Stone
Presale tickets for her upcoming tour will be available Sept 26 at 11 p.m. E.T. General sale for the “For My Fans Tour” has not been announced.
