Cristian Javier was withdrawn from Sunday’s start against the Washington Nationals due to neck stiffness, adding another setback to the Houston Astros rotation. The news was reported by Chandler Rome of The Athletic.

Houston Astros Get Tough Injury News on Right-Handed Pitcher

Hunter Brown was the Astros’ starting pitcher in his place. Even yet, the right-hander continued to struggle, giving up three more earned runs in the defeat on Sunday.
